THE STORY
That moment when my phone buzzed and I got a wattsapp from the boys at pixels. I told them a few days prior to the message that i had just finished all my graphic design courses and was ready to start on projects. Both kajenth and naresh had been telling me of their venture to start a wedding/events photography business. Honestly, i was just so excited that the guys were going to do this..and there and then like a flash of a camera, I offered them my services for their first logo.

So the journey began after the elation of that phone message and after a week of sitting down each evening at my dining table and coming up with ideas, I had 10 potential logos based on the boys specifications and colours to present. The day came and the three of us were circled round a table at the local costa in Croydon. As the meeting went on, I could see their eyes light up brighter and brighter after every design that I presented to them. The fact that the boys gave me a chance on my first project meant the world to me and I knew that I had to deliver.

The design you see above shows a lightbox, the device that provides the flash when a photo is taken, contained within a simplistic camera icon. The blur effect of the proceeding icons are coloured in light pinks and gold to give the feeling of matrimony and lightness that one feels at these events. The thin san serif font used for the logotype also highlights the charm and easy-going nature of the guys and their business model. We wanted to steer away from the generic camera icons and flowery lettering seen in soo many similar logos out there and instead have an icon that represented the company as a whole. And guess what? Together We delivered!
Guys I cannot thank you enough for this opportunity (HUGS AND HIGH FIVE EMOJIS).
